HG Boats was founded with the intent of bringing into the UK high quality racing boats at the most competitive prices. Giving the customer a racing boat which uses the latest technology and designs together with the strongest and most reliable materials will give you a racing boat which is built to give you the maximum performance and speed required.

Started by two 4th generation oarsmen. Peter Gostling is currently of the Leander Club, a 3 time Henley Royal Regatta winner and ex-under 23 International. Paul Howard, a successful entrepreneur with over 15 years experience in manufacturing and importing.

HG understands that not every club or school can afford to refurbish their fleet each year and compete on the scale of the big guns in World rowing. It is here where HG aims to provide the clubs and schools with racing shells which can contend and win at an affordable price.

All HG boats are hand built to order and are made to FISA minimum weight insuring that not only are they light and stiff but also safe and fast.

HG currently has two demonstration models in Bedford which can be viewed and tried by arrangement.
